View of the Elizabeth Bay foreshore from Darling Point showing historic houses and art deco to mid-century apartment blocks. The 19th century mansion St. Monan's, now demolished, can be seen with its gardens and conservatory at the water's edge, the site of which was later incorporated into Beare Park. In the foreground is the parkland and stone wall of Darling Point and boats in Rushcutters bay; the low-rise skyline of eastern suburbs buildings can be seen in the distance.
