Most of the collection was stored at the house of a colleague of Muller's for about ten years before its transfer to the Library.

The collection comprises architectural drawings of many of Muller’s suburban Sydney and regional NSW residential buildings, factories and business premises, along with some international resort and commercial developments. Included are perspective sketches, plans, elevations, sections and detail drawings, chiefly original drawings on paper or film, with some reproductions. Several perspective drawings, although unsigned, were rendered by Bert Read. Also included are some surveyor’s and engineer’s drawings.

The collection also includes design reports for several projects.
