Vivienne Binns was involved in the 'Mothers Memories, Others Memories' project initially as Artist-in-Residence to the General Studies Department at the University of New South Wales (1979) and then as Artist-in-the-Community in Blacktown (1979-1981). It was a participation project which focused on the lives of women: people collect together memories, anecdotes and other examples of creative expression for presentation, or for future safe keeping.

This collection consists of lectures, correspondence, minutes, meeting agendas and notes, submissions, reports, expenditure details, grant applications, copied articles, magazines, newsletters, booklets, poetry, essays, participants details and feedback, exhibition notes and photographs related to the project.

Restricted: Prior approval from donor is required for access. Any requests for access will be referred to donor by the Head of Manuscripts.
