  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Barbara St John was born in 1920, the daughter of Harry Beauchamp St John and Mary Katherine (nee Fitzharding). Barbara St John's grandfather, George Beauchamp Fleming St John, arrived in Brisbane Australia in September 1865 and later settled in Sydney, where his son Harry was born in 1886. The family moved to Mulwayla where George was Customs Agent at Yarrawonga Customs House on the Murray River.
