    Eva Cox AO , is an Austrian-born Australian writer, teacher, feminist, sociologist, public commentator, community change agent, social and political researcher and activist. She has been an active advocate for creating more civil societies and a long-term member of Women's Electoral Lobby. Eva Cox has taught policy, advocacy and research methods, run research consultancies, worked as a public servant, political adviser and consultant. Her professional expertise is policy and research issues, working on evidence bases for social policy. Cox has written widely on a range of political and social issues including, Aboriginal And Torres Strait Islander Policy, Social Policy, Political Science, Sociology, and Gender Specific Studies.
