Peter Edward Coyte (1927-2003), Catholic priest, was ordained in the Church of the Holy Family in Parkes, N.S.W. in 1951. He served at Condobolin, Bourke, Brewarrina and Trangie. He was a writer and a painter. Christine Helby was his friend and collected his literary works.
