Miss Mary Cuskelly was born at Irvington on 4 August 1908. She was the eldest of 12 children born to Harry and Mary Martha Cuskelly (nee Saville), of One Tree Farm Bentley.
Ms Cuskelly moved to Sydney with her work as a bookkeeper. She began her working career at Smith's Ltd, a general store in Casino, when it was owned by Pidcock and Brian. She continued working as a bookkeeper for the Smith family when she moved to Scone and then Sydney. She worked for the family for 41 years and stayed on in Sydney when she retired.
Mary Cuskelly passed away on 19 October 2008.
