The Antarctic Society of Australia was formed in 1985 and published a quarterly newsletter, Antarctic News & Views from 1985 to 2001. Its aim was to promote and sustain interest on all matters relating to Antarctic and sub-Antarctic regions and interest people in the exploration of and research in the Antarctic and sub-Antarctic regions.
