  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The notes are mainly in the hand of W. W. Thorpe and were compiled ca. 1918-1932 whilst he was working as ethnologist with the Australian Museum, Sydney. Thorpe arranged the notes in four sections; within these four sections the notes have been arranged in the library according to the register numbers of the items described. The notes include photos and sketches, copies of correspondence and periodical extracts relating to the relics
