  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Strathbogie was built in 1864 for Hugh Gordon. It was sold in 1901-02.

    Kamilaroi was built in Darling Point Road in 1910. The owner was George Hollingworth Gordon. It was later converted to home units and has since been demolished.
  • Scope and Content
    Strathbogie:
    1. Dining Room. The portrait hanging on the left is Emily Gordon. The portrait to her right is Hugh Gordon.
    2. Drawing Room. The older woman seated on the right is Emily Gordon.
    3. Drawing Room. The portrait above the fireplace is Admiral Hollingworth.

    Kamilaroi:
    1. Entrance Hall.
    2. Billiard Room.
    3. Dining Room.
    4. Office.
    5. Drawing Room.
    6. Verandah.
    7. View of the Croquet Lawn and Rushcutters Bay.

    9. Gate & Fence.
    10. Front of house. The figure on the verandah is probably George Hollingworth Gordon.
