    Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows was established in Australia in 1840. It was a mutual organisation that existed to provide care and security to its members and their families.

    Manchester Unity of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows records, 1854-2004. The collection mainly comprises records relating to MUIOOF in New South Wales. Material includes minute books, rules, ritual and procedure books, reports, correspondence, ephemera, photographs, drawings, sketches, architectural drawings and plans.
