The Anglican Board of Mission (Australia) was founded in Sydney in 1850. It is a mission agency of the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia and was formerly known as the Australian Board of Missions.
Blanche Biggs and William Houghton were missionaries in Papua New Guinea from approximately 1950s to 1990s. Reverend John Stafford Needham was chairman of the ABM who corresponded with the missionaries in Papua New Guinea.
