    David Clune was the Manager of the Research Service in the NSW Parliamentary Library and an Adjunct Lecturer in Government at the University of Sydney. He was awarded the Federation Medal in 2001.

    He has written widely about NSW politics and history. He is the author with Gareth Griffith of Decision and Deliberation: the Parliament of NSW, 1856-2003 (Federation Press, 2006) and the editor with Ken Turner of The Premiers of NSW, 1856-2005 (Federation Press, 2006).
