- Scope and ContentThe front cover of the volume is lettered 'Captain Cook bi-centenary celebrations N.S.W. 1770-1970'. Included in the collection is a booklet published by the Committee and titled 'Re-enactment of the landing at Kurnell, 29th April, 1970'. When received, the volume did not include captions for the photographs, some were added in the library, September 1971. Among the photographs are a number of Queen Elizabeth 11 and her family during the celebrations., and of the visit later in the year of Pope Paul V1.
