The album has the monogram `S.E.H. 1835' following a dedicatory poem on the flyleaf; no information to identify 'S.E.H.' could be found. The album was published in 1833, but the album's contents date from 1843 to 1861.
Included is a watercolour of The Washpool Kaniah River, July 1849 (p. 89); the signatures of some members of the Ebsworth, King, Dumaresq, Blaxland, Henning and Macarthur and other families, a poem which is initialled 'J.A. MCA. Jan 1849' and may have been written by James Macarthur, as well as miscellaneous published pictures, songs, poems and puzzles. - Copying ConditionsOut of copyright:
