  • Attributions / conjectures

    Previously attributed to Catherine E. Gordon since four others in the same set were stamped with her name. In 1971 the Library's Art Restorer examined this painting and another attributed to G.E. Peacock and compared them to other held in the Library -- Mitchell Library catalogue cards.
