    1 painting - oil on lid of wooden box. The box is lacquered black and rectangular shaped with hinged lid. The outside edges of the lid are decorated with inlaid metal scroll work. - 5.6 x 3.5 cm. (drawing) - 9.4 x 6.5 cm. (box)

    This object was possibly made as a commemorative piece.
    The drawing is based on a Cook portrait by Nathaniel Dance-Holland (1735-1811), held at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich.
