    Unsigned and untitled. Titled on reverse in pencil, probably by a library officer

    "Painting was for years in the possession of Gov. Macquarie. It belonged to Mrs Agnes Flockhart, youngest daughter of Robert Porter, who was for 20 years in the service of Gen. Lachlan Macquarie and his widow as manager for their estate at Glen Forsa, Scotland" -- handwritten in pencil on reverse. See Declaration by Mrs Agnes Flockhart, that relics mentioned on attached schedule are personal relics of Governor Macquarie, 18 June 1914 ML Am/17 item 30.
