First published, March, 1803, by George Howe. His son, Robert, became editor in 1821, and was succeeded by Rev. Ralph Mansfield in 1829. There were a number of editors from 1831 until lack of finance forced the paper to close down in October 1842

II. Account books, 1824-1838, including ledgers, journals advertisement journals, cash and day books and subscription books with delivery round books, including account books of the printing department.
III. Wages books, 1829-1832, including printers' wages books. (3 vols.) IV. Miscellaneous indexes (2 vols.)
