    Henry Aubrey King, a farmer originally from Swindon, England, enlisted in Brisbane, Queensland 21 Aug. 1914, embarked from Brisbane on A15 Star Of England, 24 Sept. 1914 and served with the 2nd Australian Light Horse Regiment in Gallipoli and Egypt. He was wounded in action at the Dardanelles and returned to active service Dec. 1915. He returned to Australia on HT Wiltshire 20 Dec. 1917 and was discharged 25 Jan. 1918
  • Scope and Content
    Diary kept as a trooper of the 2nd Australian Light Horse Regiment at Gallipoli.
