    A two storey Regency mansion, built for businessman & politican, Thomas Ware Smart (1810-1881). In July 1861, Smart opened his valuable picture gallery at Mona to the public. The gallery, attached to the house, overlooked Rushcutters Bay. Smart died at Mona in 1881.
