    Lance Sergeant Wallace Nicholson, clerk of Cathcart, New South Wales enlisted at the age of 20 and embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A14 Euripides, 2 Nov. 1915. He served in 'D' Company, 55th Battalion, 1st AIF during World War 1. He was discharged in Sydney on 10 Sep. 1919
