Inscription on back of photo reads: [sic] "The photo on the front is Gracemere between the ballast pit and the distant semaphore you can see how far the water is up and it was eight inches higher than this photo. Worley & I were booked "9y" to Yeppoon on the Sunday train. We got to Gracemere, ran around our train and pushed the coaches into the water so as the passengers could get into a couple of motor boats that were there waiting". - Attributions / conjectures
