  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Edmund Edgar, also known as Eagar, and by the aliases Bults and Bult, was a painter, engraver, and lithographer. Prior to his transportation to Australia for robbery in 1825, Edgar had worked in London as a miniature painter. In Sydney, Edgar was assigned to Augustus Earle and helped on the production of lithographs.
