    William Myers was a flying officer in the aerial reconnaissance section of No. Six Squadron RAAF. This squadron and others were assigned to photograph for security reasons all the military and merchant ships in Australian and adjacent waters from just before and during World War II. Together with these photographs are 61 copy photographs of Japanese military aircraft silhouettes as well as identification photographs, drawings and silhouettes of Allied and Axis warships -- ML 1389/95
