Carlo Lorenzi (1900-1980) and his wife, Angiolina, nee Zamboni (1901-1993), were proprietors of La Veneziana Restaurant, East Sydney from the late 1940s until 1976. Carlo came to Australia from Italy in 1927. He married by proxy Angiolina who arrived in 1934. During World War II Carlo's brother, Valerio, was interned in Loveday Camp, S.A., where he became friends with Italian businessman, linguist and painter, Lamberto Yonna. - Scope and ContentInclude correspondence, passports, printed material and photographs, mainly of family, friends and restaurant patrons, including the boxer Luigi Coluzzi
