    Alice of Wonderland City. Wirth's Circus bought her from William Anderson in 1908. By the 1920's Alice was well travelled with the circus and with her came the myth that she was over 100 years old. Alice was born around 1876. She was owned by Bostock & Wombwell's Circus and Menagerie until 1906 when she was auctioned and bought by William Anderson. After Wirth's Circos obtained her they changed her name to 'Princess Alice' Alice died at Wirth's Circus in Melbourne in November 1941.
