Correspondence and papers, beings mainly manuscript papers.
1 and 2. Papers include: Thomas Hassall, sermons, 1825-1855, pp. 8096-8390, pp. 8391-8686. Sermons, originally in small notebooks, are bound into small volumes, being manuscript with annotations and corrections, and including on the first page the text of the sermon, as well as the name of the location or church and the date it was preached, eg. Bathurst 21/1/27, St Pauls 6/11/42, most sermons having been preached on more than one occasion.
3. James Hassall, papers and correspondence, ca. 1850-ca. 1900. Papers being manuscript, notes, fragments and letters received (2).
