    Miscellaneous manuscripts and other items relating to sheep and sheep breeding, 1820-1936, including sales of sheep, returns of sheep at Camden and Richlands, 1840-1882, and observations by James and William Macarthur.

    Contents include: Specimens of wool from merino sheep, 1878, and photographs of pure Camden merinos bred by W. Campbell, Member of Legislative Council Victoria [1880?]; notes and observations by James Macarthur relative to merino sheep and the production of fine wool, during a journey through part of the Netherlands and Germany (24 November 1829 to 14 March 1830) [with further notes dated London 16 April 1830]; Catalogue of pure merino ewes and rams to be sold at Ercildoune on Wednesday October 30 1878 (Ballarat ; James Curtis, printer, [1878?]); observations on the preparation of wool, by William Macarthur, with plan of sheep washing adopted at Camden [undated; watermark 1828]; printed catalogue of sheep, pigs and pony stallions at the property of Mrs E. H. Woodhouse, Rockwood, near Campbelltown, NSW, April 1882; Preliminary catalogue of 1410 pure merino rams and ewes to be sold by public auction by Mort & Co., 17, 18 and 19 July 1883 (Mort & Co.'s ninth annual sale of stud sheep, July 1883); entry paper for wool for the 1886 Colonial and Indian Exhibition, London; extract from an address by Nr N.
