    Eight letters from Elizabeth Macarthur-Onslow to her father and mother, undated, [1856-187-?], and one to her aunt Lady Macarthur

    Letters to Mrs E. Macarthur-Onslow, 26 October 1846-4 July 1900. Authors include Charlotte Norman, Captain Erskine, William Macarthur, A. G. de Gynlay (Secretary to the New South Wales Commissioners for the Paris Universal Exhibition), Elizabeth King (Mrs P. G. King), George Macleay, Georgina Isabella Onslow, George F. Macarthur, Catherine Leslie, Mary Jane Macarthur (nee Mather), Agnes Barbara Mary King (Mrs George Kennedy King, nee Macarthur), George Hannibal Charles Macarthur RN, Kate Macarthur (wife? of George Hannibal Charles), May Macarthur, Frank Bladen (Public Library of NSW), Admiral Sir Cyprian Bridge. Subjects include death of Patrick Leslie; administration of Lady Macarthur's estate, including papers of Sir Edward Macarthur (with printed advertisement and sale catalogue, 1891); compilation of John Macarthur correspondence for Historical Records of NSW; participation of Elizabeth Macarthur-Onslow's sons in South African War.

Include invitations to 1879 Sydney International Exhibition, functions relating to Society of Women Painters, Victoria League (NSW Branch), Red Cross (NSW Division); charter of Women's Branch of the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals [1885?].
