    Naval diary, with transcription and notes. Has very brief entries covering the commissioning of HMS Glory at Portsmouth, coaling the ship, capturing steamers, Sept. 1914, transporting Canadian troops and horses to England, Oct. 1914, mine sweeping in the Dardanelles, July 1915, and action at Suvla Bay and Anzac. HMS Glory was sent to Halifax as guard ship 5 Aug. 1914 and to support cruisers in North American waters, was later transferred to the Dardanelles, May 1915 and to the Suez Canal patrol Dec. 1915
