    Letters, mainly to Irene Victoria Read from her brother Fred Phillips, including letters to his nieces Margaret and Myfanwy and nephew Peter, and letters of condolence following his death. Letters were written from Lemnos when serving with the 1st Field Ambulance, Sept. 1915, from Gallipoli, France and Belgium, May 1916 and after receiving the Military Medal for stretcher bearing at Posieres. Items sent with the letters include photographs, postcards, a railway map of Lower Egypt, 1914 and 2 issues of the Peninsular Press, 28 July and 21 Aug. 1915
