    Charles Ronald Sherwin, a fitter of Ashfield, Sydney, New South Wales, was 27 when he enlisted on 26 Sept. 1914. He embarked from Sydney on board Transport A29 Suevic, 21 Dec. 1914 and served with the 6th Light Horse Regiment at Gallipoli and in Egypt.

    Norman Douglas Sherwin, a labourer from Cargo, New South Wales enlisted aged 20 on 14 Sept. 1914 and embarked from Sydney on board Transport A29 Suevic, 21 Dec. 1914. He served with the 6th Light Horse Regiment, was wounded during the attack on Amman on 28 March 1918 and reported missing. He died of wounds the next day while a prisoner of the Turks.

    Frank Herbert Sherwin, a bank clerk of Cargo, New South Wales enlisted aged 23, 29 August 1915 and embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A60 Aeneas, 20 Dec. 1915. He served as a driver with the 6th Light Horse Regiment in Egypt and France

    Arthur Townsend Sherwin, bank accountant of Cargo, New South Wales enlisted aged 26, on 28 Sept. 1915 and embarked from Adelaide, South Australia, on board HMAT A30 Borda, 11 Jan. 1916. He was invalided back to Australia from Cairo in June 1916 after illness.

    Walter Harold Elkington, a grocer of Summer Hill, Sydney enlisted aged 23, on 22 Sept. 1915, embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A67 Orsova on 11 March 1916 and served with the 20th Battalion, 10th Reinforcement. He was awarded the Military Cross for his actions at Villers Bretonneux where he was severely wounded, 8th August 1918
