This collection comprises of children's book illustrations, being mainly watercolours that were originally part of the Angus & Robertson Publishers Australia archives. The illustrations then became part of HarperCollins Publishers Australia when they formed in 1989, incorporating Angus & Robertson Publishers Australia.
