- Scope and ContentDiary in the form of letters, written from camp in Queens Park, Sydney, on board troopship A14 and from Mena Camp, Egypt Dec. 1914-Mar. 1915. His entries from Mudros Bay 24 Apr. 1915 and Anzac Cove 30 Apr. 1915 describe the landing at Gallipoli and stretcher-bearing there. He describes training in Sarpi camp on Lemnos, fighting in France where he served as a platoon commander, 4 Apr. 1916-18 May 1917, being wounded at Bullecourt May 1917 and hospital in Wandsworth England, June 1917. Includes short stories and articles
