Peter Hall, a printer of West Perth, Western Australia was born in Adelaide, South Australia and was 29 years when he enlisted, 21 Oct. 1914. He embarked from Fremantle, Western Australia, on board Transport A55 Kyarra, 14 Dec. 1914 and served with No. 2 Australian Stationary Hospital, Australian Imperial Forces during the Gallipoli campaign, Apr.-May 1915 and with the 7th Field Ambulance as a stretcher bearer on the Somme front near Bapaume in northern France, from Oct. 1918.
