  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Stewart Milson of Milsons Point, Sydney was a station manager aged 27 when he applied for a commission in the 4th Battalion, 1st Infantry Brigade, 1 Sept. 1914 and embarked on Transport A14 Euripides, 20 Oct. 1914. He was appointed Commander of B Coy, 4th Battalion 1 Jan. 1915 at Gallipoli, where he was wounded, 26 Apr. 1915. He received special mention for acts of conspicuous gallantry 30 June 1915 and was killed in action, 6-8 Aug. 1915
