Nora Fletcher, born 1880 at Woollahra, New South Wales, trained as a nurse, graduating from the Coast Hospital in 1906 and later left Sydney to work in England. Throughout World War I she worked with the Joint War Committee, serving as Principal Matron in France. She obtained several awards for her services including the Royal Red Cross in 1915 and the Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1920 - Scope and ContentIncludes notes on awards, congratulatory letters, references and passports with a biographical note by Mrs J.
