    Sapper John Henry Lowe, a telegraphist of Brisbane, Queensland was born in London, England and enlisted at the age of 40 in Brisbane, 23 Mar. 1917. He served with the 5th Signal Troop, 5th Light Horse Brigade, AI.F. in Palestine and returned to Australia on HT Port Sydney, 4 Mar. 1919
