Geoffrey Bell Hughes, clerk of Marrickville, NSW was born in 1892, the brother of Randolph William Hughes. He embarked from Sydney on board the Ceramic, 25 June 1915 and served with the 5th Field Ambulance in Gallipoli, Sinai and France during World War I.
