    J. C. S. King, a clerk of Alstonville, Richmond River, N.S.W. served with the 1st Field Ambulance in France. He embarked on the HMAT A35 Berrima in Sydney, 17 Dec. 1915 and returned on the A30 Borda to Australia where he was discharged medically unfit with shell shock, 19 Dec. 1917

    Describes experiences including being wounded and sent to the British Hospital in Abbeville and finishes with his anticipating return to England and then Australia
