    Farrier-Sergeant T. E. Goodwin of Stanmore, Sydney, New South Wales enlisted aged 34, 28 Aug. 1914 and embarked from Sydney on board Transport A8 Argyllshire, 18 Oct. 1914. He served as a farrier with the 2nd Battery, 1st Field Artillery Brigade, A.I.F. 24 August 1914-4 December 1918 in Gallipoli and France. He was awarded the Croix de Guerre in Belgium on 6 Feb. 1918
