    Corporal Rudolph William Arthur Cox of Adelaide, South Australia, enlisted aged 19 years, 27 Aug. 1915 and embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A26 Armadale, 20 March 1916. He served as a sapper in the Australian Imperial Forces in No. 2 Section, 3rd Field Company Engineers, Reinforcement 15 in Egypt, France and Belgium. He returned to Australia on HMAT Anchises, 28 Feb. 1919
