• Scope and Content
  The sketchbook has both page numbers, assigned by the Library at an unknown date; and sketch numbers, possibly in John Glover's hand. The following list refers to sketch numbers as they appear in the sketchbook order.

• General note
  
  The sketchbook in landscape format has a leather bound cover and spine.
  
  All extant work is of Van Diemen’s Land with the exception of one reference on the inside front cover which suggests Glover already had this book in England `Fine collection of Pictures at Tong Castle 10 M from Wolverhamption’.
  
  A large amount of the book appears to be missing with many pages not bound evenly or irregularly sized. The sketches are original and appear to have been copied from this sketchbook to DGA 28 which refers back to this book in its numeration. This book has added cross-like pencil marks, to show what has been copied. The book contains both folio and sketch numbers.
