These albums of Lindsay's etchings were compiled by his second wife, model, business manager and printer, Rose Lindsay, nee Soady. She offered them to the Library for purchase in 1963. They are an almost complete record of his etchings from the early 1900s until the 1950s.

They include both published and unpublished etchings (mostly accompanied by the original pencil sketch), engravings, pencil and ink drawings, and bookplates. Manuscript notes, usually in pencil below the pasted-in etchings are most often in the hand of Rose Lindsay. Many of the etchings are signed 'N.L.' in pencil, usually at lower right, and usually carry the proof number at lower left (usually in Norman's hand).
