    Hugh Buhrich (1911-2004) a German architect came to Australia as a refugee from Nazi Germany, arriving before the beginning of WWII. His practice, of 40 years, covered domestic and small commercial projects. His project designs often included the interiors as well as the buildings. He generally designed in a modernist style, particularly with his own house at Castlecrag (1968-1971)
