    Photographer took 3 shots of each individual. These groupings by individual are preserved. Each series of 3 had a running number & the order is preserved but single images are renumbered uniquely

    In August 1866 Charles Woolley took a series of excellent head-and-shoulder portraits of the surviving Tasmanian Aborigines, which were later re-printed by J W Beattie.
