    Malcolm Murray Alexander Greig, a farmer of Kingsthorpe, Queensland, was born at Willowie, South Aust. and enlisted at Frasers Hill, Queensland, 4 May 1916. He embarked from Brisbane on board HMAT A36 Boonah, 21 Oct. 1916 and served in France and Belgium with the 42nd Battalion. He was wounded in action, 4 Oct. 1917 and died of wounds, 6 Oct. 1917

    Diary kept while Greig was a member of the 42nd Battalion, A.I.F. Includes description of voyage from Australia to Plymouth on troopship Boonah, 21 Oct. 1916 - 10 Jan. 1917.
