  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Richard Blundell, a station hand, was born in Liverpool, England. He enlisted in Liverpool, New South Wales on 14 December 1914 and served with the Australian Field Artillery, Jan. 1915 - May 1916, then transferred to the 101st Battalion. He was aboard ships operating in the Dardanelles, Apr. - May 1915, served in Egypt, June 1915 - Mar. 1916 and then in France, Mar. 1916 - Dec. 1918. He returned to Australia on HT Berrima, 2 Jan. 1919
