    Arthur Henry Freebody, a labourer of Drummoyne, Sydney was born in Cooma, New South Wales and enlisted at Casula aged 27 years 4 months in December 1915. He embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on board HMAT A68 Anchises, 14 March 1916 and served in France with the 31st Battalion, 5th Reinforcement. He embarked on the troopship Friedrichsruh 22 January 1920, arriving in Australia 12 March 1920
